Everytime you explore a new place, you should pay attention to the sidebar. It explains you important facts for a currently visited place and tells you important information.

You have logged in the first time and this tutorial will guide you through your first steps.
You have received some BreePoints to start out with. BreePoints are the standard currency in the world of BreePets. You can buy all basics things you need to play (e.g. Pets or Items) with them.

Buy Pets

The main part of BreePets is breeding and taking care of pets. Pets can work for you and sleep, they can be trained and participate in battles and some more stuff. Furthermore, you can breed pets to get more powerful or valuable pets, but your pets want to be fed and entertained regularly. There are several ways to get pets. Besides breeding, you can buy pets in Genetica or at the pet market from other players.
For the beginning, we suggest to buy a male and female pet at the breed farm in Genetica. Both pets should be of the same race.

Mutate Pets

As soon as you have bought a male and female pet, you should visit the neighbouring DNA-Shop to buy some mutators for your first pets (Notice: the shop restocks regularly with other stuff). You can change the genes of your pets with mutators, thus the appearance changes. Take care, that you buy the right mutators for your race. Notice: mutators can only be used on pets which do not have parents or children.
Now, go to your stable, choose your pets and use mutators.

Breed Pets

Time to breed your pets. Visit the breedstation, choose your both pets and press the heart. Congratulations! You have bred your first pet, but it needs some time to hatch. Meanwhile, take your time to further explore BreePets. The sidebar informs you about different locations and sites. You can explore BreePets completely by your own, read other tutorials or simply play some games to earn BreePoints.
